Our Approach
Brief Stack generates content through automated analysis of publicly available provider source code. Every Update Brief is backed by evidence — structured diffs, version numbers, and links to original release pages.
Content Generation Pipeline
- Source Detection — We monitor official GitHub releases for supported providers
- Schema Extraction — Provider schemas are built from source code to extract field-level metadata
- Automated Diffing — We compare consecutive version schemas to identify all changes
- Severity Classification — Changes are scored: breaking (+20), security (+20), deprecation (+10), behavior (+5), feature (+2)
- AI-Assisted Writing — For significant changes (score ≥ threshold), an AI model generates structured update briefs from the diff evidence
- Quality Gate — Every article must pass: minimum 2 verifiable sources, sufficient checklist items for breaking changes, no exaggerated language, minimum diff complexity
- Publishing — Only articles that pass the quality gate are published. Sub-threshold changes appear in the weekly digest only.
Quality Standards
- Evidence-Based — Every claim links to a specific version diff or release note
- Verified Dates — Each article displays when the analysis was performed
- No Exaggeration — We automatically detect and reject content with unsubstantiated claims (e.g., “guaranteed”, “100% safe”)
- Transparent Sources — All source URLs are listed with every update brief
